Sportsman Channel's Hunt.Fish.Feed. Initiative
Hunger and homelessness remain serious problems in America. Sportsman Channel's Hunt.Fish.Feed. initiative is a program designed for Sportsmen to share their harvest with those in need.
The Boston initiative is part of Sportsman Channel's annual tour to help feed the homeless. Hunt.Fish.Feed. will serve more than 400 meals to the men, women and children at a worthy shelter in the greater Boston area. The event will take place on Sunday, May 20th. Transportation to and from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the shelter will be supplied by NCTA.
How You Can Help:
- Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve from 2:00pm to 6:45pm.
- Volunteers will help prepare the meal, set up the dining room, serve dinner and clean up afterwards.
- All volunteers should come prepared to get a little messy. Dressing in casual attire and close toed shoes is recommended. Sportsman Channel will provide T-Shirts and aprons for all volunteers on the day of the event.
- There is no parking available at the shelter, so please plan to ride on the NCTA provided buses.
